Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross tries to close the distance and clinch but Kong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kong throws a right hand that Ross ducks under and follows up with a left that Ross also avoids with ease.
Kong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ross.
A left lands for Kong.
Kong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kong connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ross. Ross circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ross takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ross misses with a head kick.
Kong looks to land a combination but Ross avoids it well.
Kong misses with a few strikes there.
Kong works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Ronnie Ross has been cut.
Kong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ross circles away quickly and effectively.
Ross slips a jab and a cross from Kong.
Kong paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kong tests Ross's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kong throws a series of punches but Ross avoids them all with ease.
Kong throws an overhand right that lands on Ross's shoulder, as Ross tries to avoid the shot.
King Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kong throws a jab when Ross was well out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kong.
Nice straight punches there by Kong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kong.
Kong throws a right hand that Ross ducks under and follows up with a left that Ross also avoids with ease.
Kong scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Kong drops Ross with a beautiful combination! Ross stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kong is looking for the KO!

Ross is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ross loses concentration momentarily and Kong pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ross crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kong finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
