Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Hurskainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Valor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pertti Hurskainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Valor! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hurskainen wants to control but Valor passes into side.
Valor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Valor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Valor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Valor creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hurskainen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Valor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Valor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurskainen is not content to let Valor control the position. Valor working away. Hurskainen is not content to let Valor control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Valor shoots in for a double leg but Hurskainen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hurskainen doesn't manage to clinch there - Valor circles away.
Valor moves out of range of the leg kick from Hurskainen. Valor lunges at Hurskainen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hurskainen's hand. Valor shoots in and bounces Hurskainen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Valor lands a couple of decent looking shots. Valoris looking to pass into half guard but Hurskainen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hurskainen is in guard. Hurskainen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Valor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Valor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Valor! Valor decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hurskainen misses with a double jab.
Valor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Valor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hurskainen is trying to stand.
Valor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hurskainen sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurskainen actively working from the bottom here. Valor trying to pass the guard but Hurskainen defending well. Hurskainen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hurskainen is trying to maintain the position but Valor is very close to passing his half guard. Hurskainen wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Valor dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Valor tries a head kick but it misses.
Valor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hurskainen did well to prevent Valor getting side control. Valor missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hurskainen tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Valor manages to move to mount!
Hurskainen is squirming around, avoiding Valor's attempts to control the action. Valor controlling his opponent. Hurskainen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valor working the ground and pound effectively.
Hurskainen wants to control but Valor is having none of it. Valor scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Valor lands a big shot to the head and Hurskainen winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tyler Valor!
