Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reginaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoffry Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gracie feints and as Adams raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracie trying to control but Adams is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Adams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully.
Adams showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Adams trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard.

Gracie pulls Adams in close to prevent any damage.
Gracie doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Adams wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.

Adams wants to stand and escape but instead Gracie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie throws a body punch but Adams moves out of range.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adams was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gracie advances position into side control!
Adams is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Adams is trying to buck Gracie off.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adams has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Adams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adams regains half guard, as Gracie was trying to land strikes.
Gracie is working for a kimura here but Adams manages to reverse the position and he's now in Gracie's guard.

Adams stuffs the takedown.

Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Adams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Adams which made him look bad.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Adams throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Adams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Reginaldo Gracie has been cut.
Adams lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Adams is looking to land body kicks.
Adams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adams attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Adams counters with a thumping low kick.
Adams throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Adams counters with a series of strikes. Gracie will be more careful next time no doubt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Adams counters with a left and a right that stings Gracie.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Adams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.

Gracie wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Adams connects with a solid leg kick.
Adams thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gracie if he has to take too many more of those.

Adams scores with a hook to the body. Gracie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

A chopping leg kick lands by Adams.
Adams clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A jab from Adams does it's job there.

Adams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Adams to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Adams controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Adams throws a sloppy strike and Gracie has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Adams is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Gracie!
