Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pop Tarts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shannon Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pop Tarts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shannon Lynn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn misses with a straight left. Tarts avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lynn scores with a kick to the midsection. Lynn lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tarts feints and as Lynn raises his hands in defense, Tarts changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Tarts tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynn is retaining full guard. Lynn is trying to control the position but Tarts postures up. Lynn is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Tarts trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tarts pushes down on Lynn's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tarts is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lynn sees it coming and defends easily. Lynn is looking to improve his position.
Tarts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lynn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tarts. Tarts is breathing heavily. Lynn wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lynn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lynn is trying to maintain the position but Tarts is very close to passing his half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lynn with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lynn scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Pop Tarts has been cut. Tarts gets a takedown into half guard. Tarts is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tarts tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lynn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lynn tries to roll over but Tarts keeps him under control. Lynn is looking to control Tarts's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lynn avoid being mounted? Tarts trying to pass the guard but Lynn defending well. Tarts is thwarting Lynn's attempts to control the position. Tarts wants to free his trapped foot but Lynn is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lynn is trying to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lynn can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jab from Lynn. A shot to de liver by Lynn. Beautiful body shot. Lynn scores with a punch to the head. Lynn fails with a takedown attempt. Lynn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tarts doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lynn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tarts! Lynn wants to take Tarts's back here but Tarts is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Lynn controlling the pace for now. Lynn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tarts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tarts working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lynn looking to secure an arm triangle but Tarts defends it well. Tarts is looking to improve his position but Lynn isn't that keen on the idea. Tarts tries to improve his position but instead Lynn has taken his back! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lynn controlling well, preventing Tarts from escaping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Will Lynn go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Lynn has the hooks in. Tarts is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shannon Lynn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pop Tarts's cut. That's time! Tarts's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lynn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tarts's guard. Lynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lynn is posturing up here but Tarts has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lynn tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lynn has to tap! Slick submission there by Tarts!
