Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Napiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Fickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Fickett told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fickett is trying hard to land a takedown here. Napiera sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Napiera rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fickett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Napiera wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Napiera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Napiera's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
