Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tadashi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masoud Mazadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadashi Masaru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masoud Mazadi! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masaru lands a jab to Mazadi's midsection. Masaru looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mazadi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Masaru was covering up waiting for the punch and Mazadi finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mazadi chips away with some ground and pound. Mazadi is looking to work some ground and pound but Masaru has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masaru is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mazadi is standing up over Masaru. Masaru looks to escape but Mazadi dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Masaru is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mazadi in side control, throwing shots but Masaru defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mazadi trying to control the position but Masaru is working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Mazadi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Masaru keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Masaru connects with the punch.
It looks like Masoud Mazadi has been cut. Tadashi Masaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mazadi fails to land the takedown. Masaru throws a head kick but Mazadi moves out of range.
Masaru misses the shot to the body. Masaru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mazadi throws out the jab. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mazadi has eaten all the pies! Masaru misses with a two punch combination.
Masaru fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mazadi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Masaru swivels and escapes. Tadashi Masaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masoud Mazadi. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Masaru slips a straight right by Mazadi. Masaru lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Mazadi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Masaru as he jumps to the side. Mazadi fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadashi Masaru dominated that round. The cut man is working on Masoud Mazadi's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Masaru lands with a shot to the body. Some wild striking there from Masaru.
Mazadi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Masaru is trying to defend but Mazadi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Masaru keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Mazadi missing with a left hand there. Masaru was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Masaru throws a looping overhand right but Mazadi ducks down to avoid it. Mazadi moves in looking to clinch but Masaru pushes him off. Mazadi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Masaru scores with a head kick.
That has opened up Masoud Mazadi's cut even more. Masaru keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Masaru throws a nice looking combination but Mazadi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Masaru scores with a shot to the body.
Mazadi shoots in but no luck this time. Masaru tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mazadi was well out of range. Poor timing from Masaru. Mazadi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Masaru tries to clinch but Mazadi is having none of it. Masaru is looking to wear down Mazadi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Mazadi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Masaru misses with a double jab.
Mazadi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mazadi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mazadi trying to control from half guard but Masaru is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazadi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Masaru is looking to escape. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mazadi throwing shots but Masaru is blocking nicely. Mazadi trying to control from Masaru's half guard. Masaru has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Masoud Mazadi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tadashi Masaru is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mazadi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Masaru lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
And that's the end of the fight! Tadashi Masaru showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Masaru, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
