PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TOUCHED kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Pierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denny Crane!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierre lands a really nice looking cross but Crane seems unphased.
Quinton Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Denny Crane has been cut.

Crane feints and as Pierre raises his hands in defense, Crane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pierre is trying to control the position but Crane postures up.

Crane drops back looking for a leg! Pierre is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pierre manages to kick Crane off! Crane jumps back into Pierre's guard.
Pierre not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pierre is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crane is controlling him.

Crane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pierre holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
