Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between System Settings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colton Cates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, System Settings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colton Cates! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Settings misses. Settings shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cates pinned against the cage. Cates gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Settings could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cates bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Settings is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cates has just dragged him back down to the mat. Cates cracks Settings with a big right hand but Settings just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cates working the ground and pound from side control. Cates in side control lands a decent elbow.
It looks like System Settings has been cut. Cates lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Settings is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cates is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Settings is trying to escape and Cates transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Settings is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cates! Very nice indeed!
