Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Hirai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Mama said knock you out. Charlie Khan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan dives in and grabs Hirai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hirai pushes down on Khan's head and hops out.

Khan drops back looking for a leg! Hirai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hirai manages to kick Khan off! Khan jumps back into Hirai's guard.

Khan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hirai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Khan, into his guard.

Khan has his foot on Hirai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hirai works his way back into a safe position though.
