Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Brean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Viinamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brean ducks under a wild hook from Viinamaki. Viinamaki throws a shot from downtown. Brean moves away and avoids it. Viinamaki moves in looking to clinch but Brean pushes him off. Brean keeps the fight on the outside. A big left from Brean misses. Viinamaki throws a hook to the side of Brean's head but Brean sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Viinamaki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brean.

Viinamaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Brean swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Viinamaki looks to throw the jab but Brean is out of range. Viinamaki throws a low kick, looking for Brean's leg but Brean calmly moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Brean will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Viinamaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brean swats him away and circles back towards the center. Viinamaki swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brean counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brean. Brean won't allow Viinamaki to get back to his feet. Viinamaki wants to sweep but no luck. Brean trying to control the position from guard on top but Viinamaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brean tries to free his leg and advance position but Viinamaki is retaining full guard. Viinamaki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Viinamaki controls Brean momentarily but Brean frees himself. Brean will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jussi Viinamaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Viinamaki slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brean looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Viinamaki wants to slow Brean down by chopping away at his legs. Brean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Viinamaki as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Brean. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brean is fighting to break Viinamaki's control of his arms but Viinamaki is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Brean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Viinamaki looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Viinamaki looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Viinamaki! Viinamaki looks up at the clock and then as Brean takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Viinamaki smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Brean will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Joe Brean's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Viinamaki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Viinamaki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brean is working away from the top position though. Brean looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brean wants to control from the top but Viinamaki keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Brean showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brean, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
