Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remero Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nate Kirby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Remero Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riggs throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kirby was covering up waiting for the punch and Riggs finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kirby bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riggs's guard.

Kirby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riggs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Riggs can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nate Kirby will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Riggs drops back looking for a leg! Kirby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kirby manages to kick Riggs off! Riggs jumps back into Kirby's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riggs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Remero Riggs.
Well Kirby has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
