Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Georges Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Georges Edgar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Rex!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Rex.
Edgar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Edgar scores with a body shot.
Edgar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rex. Rex circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rex changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edgar tries to avoid it but Rex manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edgar to the ground. Edgar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edgar lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Ron Rex has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Edgar looks to throw the jab but Rex is out of range.
Edgar sizes up Rex with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rex has managed to clinch.
Edgar lands a body shot.
Rex pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Edgar changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rex looks gassed!
Rex tries to close the distance and clinch but Edgar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Edgar cracks a nice hook into Rex's ribs.
Rex takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rex is rocked!
Rex looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rex is still on wobbly legs! Can Edgar finish him?
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rex.
Rex seems to have recovered his senses.
Rex takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Edgar sends Rex crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Edgar is motioning to the referee to let Rex up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rex moves forwards but Edgar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Edgar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Edgar walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rex drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Edgar swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rex's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Georges Edgar!
