Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Matic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuki Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Matic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kazuki Williams! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Matic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Williams, pushing him back against the cage. Williams tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Matic smiles and moves away.
Matic moves into the clinch. Williams wants a takedown but no success here.
Josh Matic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuki Williams. Matic pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Matic looking for a sweep. Not yet Matic, not yet. Williams stops Matic from standing up. Matic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Williams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Williams thows a big elbow that misses. Williams preventing the sweep.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Matic drives through with a takedown into guard. Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Matic trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Matic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Williams tries to land a sweep but no joy. Matic wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matic content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Matic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Williams wants to stand and escape but Matic is having none of it. Matic not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Matic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Williams is trying to control the position but Matic postures up. Matic wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to stand but Matic is controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Matic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Williams looking for a guillotine here but Matic defends easily.
Williams looks gassed! Matic not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Williams is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Matic won't allow Williams to sweep him here. Matic tries to stand but Williams is controlling from the bottom. Matic wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Matic is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Matic dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Matic won't allow it.
Williams tries for a takedown but Matic manages to get underhooks.
Williams tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Matic smiles and moves away.
Matic scores with a takedown into Williams's guard. Matic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Williams is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Williams keeping moving, preventing Matic from controlling successfully. Matic postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Matic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Williams, up you get! Matic throws a nice inside leg kick. Josh Matic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Matic misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matic moves into the clinch. Williams tries to circle away but Matic has him pinned against the cage. Matic stalls. Williams lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Matic or not. Matic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Matic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Matic throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Matic takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Williams throws a head kick that misses. Matic throws a half hearted mid kick. Williams misses with a takedown attempt and Matic counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Josh Matic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuki Williams. Williams tries for a takedown. No joy.
Matic is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Williams is defending well for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matic gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams is trying to stand back up but Matic is controlling him
Matic wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Matic wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Williams is not content to let Matic control the position. Matic sitting and controlling from the half guard. Williams regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Matic rolls with it to try and escape but Williams cranks on the arm and Matic is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
