Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bones Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murata Shougo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bones Justice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murata Shougo! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Justice. No joy for Shougo on that attempt. Shougo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Justice throws a chopping leg kick but Shougo manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Shougo swats away the attempt to clinch by Justice. Shougo fails with a takedown attempt. Bones Justice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murata Shougo. Justice has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shougo gets underhooks to prevent Justice's takedown attempt.
Justice wants to get back to striking at distance but Shougo won't allow it.
Justice misses with a hook to the ribs.
Justice jumps guard but Shougo stands there with Justice around his waist. Justice gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Justice has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shougo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Justice just leaning against Shougo, taking a breather. Shougo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Justice has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Justice misses with a short punch on the inside. Justice pulls guard effortlessly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shougo trying to control the position from guard on top but Justice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shougo stands up from guard. Let's bang! Shougo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Justice tries to avoid it but Shougo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Justice to the ground. Justice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Shougo thows a body shot but no joy. Horrible takedown by Justice or perhaps it was just good defense by Shougo which made him look bad. Justice is breathing heavily. Justice rushes Shougo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shougo prevents Justice from breaking the clinch. Justice jumps guard and drags Shougo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Shougo stands up from Justice's guard - Shougo perhaps looking for a knockout. Shougo shoots in and bounces Justice off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Shougo wants to control from the top but Justice keeps moving. Shougo wants to pass the guard but Justice is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shougo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Justice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shougo. Justice looking to control.
Justice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shougo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Justice misses with a takedown attempt and Shougo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Justice! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shougo wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Justice is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shougo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Justice slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Justice looking for a kimura from the bottom but Shougo passes into side control! Justice wants to control but Shougo postures up. Justice is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Justice is working hard here to advance position. Shougo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shougo tries for a kimura but Justice is defending well. Justice is trying to control Shougo's posture but Shougo avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shougo stands up and beckons Justice to his feet. Justice tries to clinch up. Shougo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Justice is squirming around, avoiding Shougo's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shougo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Justice tries to lock up and control but Shougo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Shougo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Justice is looking to escape. Shougo controlling his opponent. Shougo looking to control but Justice is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murata Shougo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Shougo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Justice counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Justice. Shougo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Justice manages to get himself to full guard.
Justice keeping moving, preventing Shougo from controlling successfully. Shougo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Shougo trying to control but Justice is working from the bottom. Shougo preventing the sweep. Shougo works a leg free and moves into half guard. Shougo is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Justice has managed to free his arm - good work. Shougo is breathing heavily. Justice wants to get back to his feet. Justice is staying active underneath Shougo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shougo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Shougo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shougo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Justice can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Shougo get's back to his feet. Shougo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Justice is fending him off so far but Shougo persists. Nope, Justice circles away and we're back to standing. Shougo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Shougo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Justice looking to pass the guard. Shougo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shougo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Justice gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Justice is fighting to break Shougo's control of his arms but Shougo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shougo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Justice! Shougo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Justice is looking to escape. Shougo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Justice turns into him and now he's in Shougo's guard.
Shougo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Justice's guard. Justice wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Justice utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shougo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Justice is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shougo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Shougo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Justice looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Justice looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Justice! Justice scoring with punches from side control. Shougo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Justice wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Shougo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Justice makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Justice. Justice keeping moving, preventing Shougo from controlling successfully. Shougo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Justice is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shougo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shougo decides to return to a standing position. Murata Shougo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Shougo working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Justice wants to control his opponent's hands but Shougo gets his hands free. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Shougo cracks Justice with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Justice from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Shougo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Justice knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Justice for a finish. Shougo has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Justice trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Justice has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Shougo is punishing Justice with strikes - can he finish him?! Shougo working for a choke but Justice is defending well. Shougo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Justice defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Shougo is looking for the choke from the back position but Justice is controlling his hands well. Justice breaks Shougo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Shougo has his foot on Justice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Justice works his way back into a safe position though.
