The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boog misses with a head kick.
Moreno drives through and clinches with Boog against the cage.
Boog tries to throw a body punch but Moreno avoids it by throwing Boog back against the cage.

Boog wants to stall.
Boog can't get the takedown.
Moreno manages to pull guard.
Boog wants to control from the top but Moreno keeps moving.
Boog wants to stand but Moreno has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boog throws a punch but it's blocked by Moreno.
Moreno wants a takedown.
Moreno should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Moreno manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Boog is fighting to break Moreno's control of his arms but Moreno is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Johhny Moreno just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boog swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Moreno counters with a good low kick that Boog was not able to check.

Moreno shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boog's guard.

Moreno gets to his feet. Boog looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boog swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Moreno slips a jab and a cross from Boog.
Moreno fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boog, pushing him back against the cage.
Moreno blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Moreno landing knees to the body.
Moreno is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boog can't fight it off and eventually Moreno manages to take the fight to the floor. Boog looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Moreno stands and steps away. Boog gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Moreno.
Boog circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moreno tries to clinch there but Boog circles away.
Johhny Moreno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boog is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moreno sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Moreno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boog looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Moreno is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boog is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Johhny Moreno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moreno decides to stand up.
Moreno feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Boog can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moreno controls the pace.

Well Moreno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
