Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Gazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Gazer has chosen Psycho Killer as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit gets the takedown into side control.
Gazer bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fertit is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gazer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gazer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Gazer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fertit's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gazer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Mike Fertit has been cut.
Fertit tries to clinch up but Gazer circles away and keeps his distance.
Gazer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gazer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Gazer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fertit is trying to stand.
Fertit trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Gazer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fertit looks a forlorn figure.
Fertit is rocked!
Gazer postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Fertit bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Gazer and the fight is over!
