Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sert Pier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sert Pier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Winston Wallace! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wallace lands in his opponent's guard. Wallace stops Pier from standing up. Wallace slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wallace wants to get up but he can't break Pier's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Wallace postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pier is breathing heavily. Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pier, up you get! Wallace gets the takedown into side control. Wallace tries to move to mount but Pier blocks the move with his legs. Wallace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Pier taking punishment in the form of punches.
Wallace is putting a hurting on Pier here, landing some big shots from side control. Wallace tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Pier gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pier is staying active underneath Wallace, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pier looking for submissions off his back. Pier regains full guard. Nicely done. Wallace is in close to Pier's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wallace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wallace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wallace keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pier's head. Wallace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wallace with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace lands a couple of elbows. Wallace connects with a couple of short punches. Pier has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wallace doesn't defend quickly enough and Pier has managed to lock this one up! Can Wallace escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pier on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sert Pier!
