Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo swats away the attempt to clinch by Ferguson.
Ferguson shoots for a double leg takedown but Araujo sprawls well. He's pushed Ferguson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Araujo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferguson.
Araujo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ferguson.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ferguson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Araujo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Araujo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ferguson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Ferguson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferguson looks for a takedown but Araujo sprawls well.

Araujo lands a nice hook to Ferguson's body. Ferguson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Araujo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ferguson is rocked!
Araujo connects with a nice cross there... Ferguson is looking wobbly and Araujo recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ferguson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Araujo jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
