Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Elsworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hubert Parada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elsworth comes into the arena with Iron Maiden - Killers blaring out of the sound system. Rob Elsworth is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Rob Elsworth!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hubert Parada!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parada looks for a takedown but Elsworth sprawls well.

Parada shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Parada seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Elsworth does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Elsworth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parada on the ground.

Parada is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elsworth defends it well.
Parada is controlling the pace.
Parada is trying to control the action in half guard but Elsworth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parada is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elsworth defends it well.
Elsworth pushes Parada off looking to stand but Parada dives back in and keeps control.

Parada looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Parada shoots in and drives through. Elsworth sprawls well.

Parada closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Elsworth is not content to let Parada control the position.

Parada tries for a kimura but Elsworth is defending well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Parada in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parada content to control rather than advance.
Parada is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Elsworth reverses the position - he's now on top in Parada's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Parada feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Parada is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Elsworth is just riding it out for now. Parada eventually gives up the hold.
Parada is stalling here. Elsworth is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Parada seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Elsworth has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rob Elsworth will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Despite being in the dominant position, Hubert Parada just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
