Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Baiza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elijah Baiza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toby Bryant! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Elijah Baiza has been cut. Baiza has managed to clinch.
Baiza fails to pull guard.
Baiza wants the takedown. Bryant is fighting it off but Baiza persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bryant's guard against the cage. Baiza could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Baiza loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bryant wants to get back to his feet but Baiza is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Baiza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bryant works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bryant is trying to control the position but Baiza postures up. Baiza wants to stand but Bryant has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bryant controls Baiza momentarily but Baiza frees himself. Baiza is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Baiza looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Baiza seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bryant wants to control but Baiza is keeping busy and won't allow it. Baiza tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bryant controls his leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baiza throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant is trying to control but can't.
Bryant controlling the position well. Bryant tries to roll over but Baiza keeps him under control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Baiza avoids a punch combination nicely.
A right-left combo lands from Bryant. Baiza darts in and clinches Bryant up against the cage. Bryant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant fails with the takedown and Baiza counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bryant looks gassed! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Baiza in particular looking to stall. Baiza is working for a kimura but Bryant is defending it quite comfortably.
Bryant is not content to let Baiza control the position. Bryant is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryant trying to control from the bottom.
Baiza is trying to control. Bryant wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bryant trying to hold on to Baiza's head to control him but Baiza postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bryant has his takedown stuffed and Baiza counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baiza controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Baiza working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bryant's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Baiza dominated that round. The cut man is working on Elijah Baiza's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bryant pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Elijah Baiza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bryant checks a low kick from Baiza. Baiza throws a head kick that misses and Bryant counters with a takedown into side control. Bryant controlling the position from side mount. Baiza explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Baiza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bryant paws at him with a jab and circles away. A good leg kick by Bryant. Bryant with a lazy takedown attempt so Baiza counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Baiza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bryant manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Baiza has Bryant in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baiza has momentary wrist control but Bryant slips an elbow through the middle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bryant drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baiza looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baiza looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baiza! Baiza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bryant keeps working. Bryant is trying to buck Baiza off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bryant is trying to control Baiza's posture but Baiza avoids it. Baiza decides to stand back up. Bryant lands a nice shot to the body.
Bryant misses with a series of wild punches.
Baiza leaves Bryant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Baiza drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baiza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bryant keeps working. Baiza sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bryant is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bryant manages to work his way to half guard, despite Baiza's best efforts. Baiza is pressing down on Bryant's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bryant is holding on for now. Baiza missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Elijah Baiza overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bryant is trying to get back to full guard. Bryant trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Baiza is trying to control the action in half guard but Bryant is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bryant lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Baiza at a distance.
Baiza takes a kick to the side of the head. Bryant misses with a takedown and Baiza counters with a shoot takedown. Bryant fights it but they end up in guard. Elijah Baiza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toby Bryant. Bryant wants to sweep here but Baiza controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bryant trying to control the position here. Baiza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baiza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bryant swivels and escapes. Bryant fails with the takedown and Baiza counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bryant is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baiza's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baiza's back! Baiza just trying to survive but Bryant is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Baiza is having to fend off submission attempts from Bryant, who is looking to sink in the choke. Bryant doesn't have the hooks in though and Baiza manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Baiza trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Baiza has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant working a defensive guard but Baiza manages to pass into side control anyway.
Bryant trying his best to control but Baiza has mounted him. Bryant wants to hold on but Baiza pushes him away. Bryant is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bryant is just holding on here. Baiza manages to take his back.
I would not like to be Bryant right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Baiza doesn't have the hooks in and Bryant manages to turn into his guard.
Baiza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bryant defends well. Bryant looking to pass the guard. Bryant stopping the sweep attempt from Baiza. Baiza is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant gets to his feet - Baiza follows without any prompting. Bryant connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Baiza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Baiza tries to clinch there but Bryant circles away.

Bryant wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Baiza tries to clinch up and Bryant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryant manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Baiza pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bryant wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bryant tries to circle away but Baiza has him pinned against the cage. Bryant trying to stall but Baiza improves his position.
Baiza is working for takedown but Bryant is calmly controlling the position for now. A short body shot lands from Baiza as the two fighters clinch.
Bryant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Baiza circles away from the clinch attempt and Baiza counters with a single leg into guard. Bryant didn't expect that.
And that's the end of the fight! Elijah Baiza showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Baiza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
