1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig York! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from York is defended easily by Fernando . Fernando throws out a powerful jab. Fernando slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Craig York has been cut. York looks gassed! No luck with that takedown attempt from York. Fernando misses the jab. Fernando tries to clinch but York is having none of it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from York. Antonio Fernando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig York.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. York is working an open guard so Fernando takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fernando clobbers York with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fernando works the jab nicely.

York on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. York lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fernando circles away quickly and effectively. Fernando scores with a jab to the body. York with a lazy takedown attempt and Fernando makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Antonio Fernando is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Craig York seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. York tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fernando sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten York somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. York shoots for a double leg takedown but Fernando sprawls well. He's pushed York's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. York takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. York doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fernando holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by York as Fernando tries to tie him up.
And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Fernando showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fernando , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
