PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasilii Oshchepkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oshchepkov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Soviet National Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Hunt will probably get the nod.

Hunt goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Oshchepkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hunt but great work by Oshchepkov.
