Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Corey Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corey Jr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Corey Jr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Corey Jr tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Corey Jr prevents Chandler from getting the reversal.

Chandler is looking to get to half guard.
Corey Jr is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Corey Jr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Corey Jr has gone for a leg lock! Chandler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Corey Jr's guard.

Chandler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Chandler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Corey Jr's guard.
Corey Jr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Corey Jr tries to get out of the position.
Chandler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Corey Jr keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chandler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Corey Jr looks like he's trying to stand up.
Chandler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Corey Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chandler.

and Chandler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

and Chandler counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chandler.
Corey Jr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chandlers head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chandler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Corey Jr sprawls well. Corey Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chandler gets slowly back to his feet.

Corey Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Chandler tries to sprawl out of it but Corey Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chandler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Corey Jr pulls Chandler in close to his closed guard and prevents Chandler from doing any damage or advancing position.

Mike Corey Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Chandler.
Chandler is breathing heavily.
Corey Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Corey Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chandler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by Chandler or perhaps it was just good defense by Corey Jr which made him look bad.
Corey Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Corey Jr tries to bum rush Chandler with a series of wild strikes but Chandler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Corey Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chandler's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corey Jr passes Chandler's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chandler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corey Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
