Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Salt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Soni - Leather fagot. Marcus Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roy Salt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Salt! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson throws a head kick but Salt moves out of range.
Anderson avoids the head kick by Salt.
Anderson looks to land a combination but Salt avoids it well. Salt gets a clinch. Salt has clasped his hands together around Anderson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Anderson tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Salt working away. Salt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Salt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Salt scores with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson is trying to control Salt's posture but Salt avoids it. Salt working the head and body with strikes. Anderson manages to get back to half guard. Salt controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson looking for submissions off his back. Anderson is looking to control Salt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Well, if Salt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salt trying to control the action but Anderson is working from the bottom. Salt is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position. Anderson actively working from the bottom here. Salt wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy. Salt tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Anderson. Salt looks gassed! Anderson is trying to maintain the position but Salt is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Salt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Anderson did well to prevent Salt getting side control. Anderson manages to get to full guard.

Anderson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Salt is defending well. Anderson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Salt has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Anderson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
