Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Capitao Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Bradshaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Capitao Nascimento! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Bradshaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bradshaw looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bradshaw lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Nascimento keeping moving, preventing Bradshaw from controlling successfully. Nascimento manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bradshaw manages to get himself to full guard.
Nascimento postures up.
Bradshaw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nascimento looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nascimento accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nascimento throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nascimento has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nascimento tries to stand but Bradshaw is controlling from the bottom. Bradshaw trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Nascimento wants to control from the top but Bradshaw keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bradshaw keeps the fight on the outside. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bradshaw. Bradshaw tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bradshaw tries to advance to mount but Nascimento denies him. Bradshaw throws a strike aimed at the side of Nascimento's head but Nascimento avoids it well. Bradshaw in side control, throwing shots but Nascimento defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bradshaw working the ground and pound but Nascimento is defending the strikes. Bradshaw works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Bradshaw working the head and body with strikes.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A punch lands to the side of Bradshaw 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bradshaw throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bradshaw tries to clinch up. Bradshaw shoots in for a takedown but Nascimento shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bradshaw scores with a takedown into Nascimento's guard. Bradshaw postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bradshaw throws and elbow that misses. Nascimento uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bradshaw's guard. Nice move by Nascimento! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bradshaw looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nascimento's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Nascimento postures up in Bradshaw's guard and throws a big left but Bradshaw blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nascimento cracks Bradshaw with a solid left hand. Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bradshaw looking for a sweep. Not yet Bradshaw, not yet. Bradshaw working a defensive guard here.
Bradshaw is breathing heavily. Nascimento preventing the sweep. Bradshaw on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bradshaw tries to get out of the position. Nascimento scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bradshaw tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nascimento wants to get up but he can't break Bradshaw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Nascimento throwing strikes but missing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bradshaw fails with a takedown attempt. Nascimento shoots in and drives through. Bradshaw sprawls well. Nascimento fails with the takedown and Bradshaw counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bradshaw is in close to Nascimento's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Bradshaw dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bradshaw shoots in but Nascimento avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nascimento misses with an attempted mid kick.

Bradshaw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bradshaw manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nascimento with a nice head shot there. Bradshaw is striking but Nascimento is not phased and passes to half guard. Bradshaw could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nascimento slips a nice elbow through Bradshaw's hands, connecting with Bradshaw's forehead. Bradshaw manages to get to full guard.
Nascimento is pushing down on Bradshaw's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bradshaw is fighting to maintain full guard but Nascimento has managed to sneak the leg through. Bradshaw looking for submissions off his back. Nick Bradshaw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bradshaw moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Nascimento is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bradshaw defends it well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nascimento lands a nice short elbow. Nascimento thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bradshaw's head. Nascimento prevents Bradshaw from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nascimento not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bradshaw has hold of Nascimento's hands but Nascimento slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Nascimento is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bradshaw manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bradshaw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nascimento can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bradshaw has a closed guard, preventing Nascimento from standing up. Bradshaw looking for a sweep. Not yet Bradshaw, not yet. Bradshaw trying to keep a closed guard but Nascimento is proving a slippery customer.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Bradshaw will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Nascimento wants to stand but Bradshaw has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bradshaw is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nascimento is aware though and is defending well. Nascimento wants to get up but he can't break Bradshaw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bradshaw has his foot on Nascimento's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nascimento works his way back into a safe position though. Nascimento works over Bradshaw with some ground and pound from guard. Bradshaw wants to sweep here but Nascimento controlling him for the moment. Bradshaw is looking for a triangle here but Nascimento uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

And that's the end of the fight! Nick Bradshaw showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bradshaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
