Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snake has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonard Wolfe! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfe just misses with a punch to the body.
Wolfe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Snake napping and manages to drive through into side control! Snake is breathing heavily. Wolfe landing strikes. Wolfe controlling from side mount. Wolfe prevents Snake from escaping the position. Wolfe working the ground and pound from side control. Wolfe controls the position. Snake is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wolfe connects with a decent elbow. Wolfe looks up at the clock and then as Snake takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wolfe smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Snake tries to bench press Wolfe off him but Wolfe keeps the position. Wolfe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wolfe lands a nice forearm strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wolfe working the body and head with strikes.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Wolfe wants to pass the guard but Snake is keeping the position. Wolfe stays in close to Snake's body and controls the position. Lucas Snake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Leonard Wolfe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wolfe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
