The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Who bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Balboa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Who decides to stand back up. Who steps back and let's Balboa get back to his feet.
Balboa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Who misses with a head kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Who has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Balboa is trying to keep an underhook but Who manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Who had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Balboa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Who Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Balboa's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elvis Who.
