Kline has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kline shoots in for a takedown but Cunha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cunha drops his hands momentarily and Kline takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cunha is looking to stand up but Kline isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kline shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cunha as he jumps to the side.

Kline swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kline shoots for a double leg takedown but Cunha sprawls well. He's pushed Kline's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

No joy there for Cunha, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kline shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cunha sprawls well. Cunha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kline gets slowly back to his feet.

Kline tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cunha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kline somewhat.
