Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Williams! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seymour Butts! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butts somewhat. Williams loads up on a big right hand but Butts slips the punch. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Williams. Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there. Butts trying to hold on to Williams's head to control him but Williams postures up.
Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Butts is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Butts's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams prevents Butts from improving his position. Butts is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ground and pound from Williams. Williams looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Butts wants to get back to full guard. Butts is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back! Williams looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Butts connects with a big shot to the side of Williams's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Butts is striking well from the back but Williams escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Butts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head. Butts lands with a punch from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Butts thows a big elbow that misses. Williams manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Butts manages to get himself to full guard.
Williams won't allow Butts to sweep him here. Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Butts is retaining full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butts pulls Williams in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Williams lands a couple of digs. Butts tries to land a sweep but no joy. Butts is pulling down on Williams's head to control his posture. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams landing with the ground and pound. Williams throwing strikes from guard but Butts blocks nicely. Butts lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams! Butts looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to get to half guard. Williams avoids a series of strikes thrown by Butts.

Butts lands a big shot there that rocks Williams but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butts controlling from mount. Butts misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Williams dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Butts is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Williams's half guard. Butts throws a strike but Williams avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Williams tries to land a sweep but no joy. Williams seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Butts postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it. Butts throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Williams looking for a sweep. Not yet Williams, not yet. Butts lands a couple of decent looking shots. Williams trying to keep a closed guard but Butts is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Williams missing with a left hand there. Butts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Williams misses with a wild combination.
Williams misses the shot to the body. Williams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Butts loses concentration momentarily and Williams pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Butts crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Williams finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eli Williams! Eli Williams retains his super heavyweight title!
