Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gang Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by X Gonna Give It To Ya. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starr has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Miller.
Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Starr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Miller looking to pass the guard.
Starr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Starr wants to sweep but no luck.
Miller gets to his feet. Starr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Starr wants a takedown but no success here.
Miller manages to break the clinch.
Starr shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miller pushes Starr up against the cage in a clinch.
Miller jumps guard.
Starr thows a big elbow that misses.
Starr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Miller wriggles free and stands up.

Miller rushes Starr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Starr tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch.
Miller successfully pulls guard.
Starr trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller controls Starr momentarily but Starr frees himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Starr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Starr wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starr looks gassed!

Starr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Starr has his takedown stuffed
and Miller counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Gus Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gang Starr.

Miller clinches up against the cage.
Miller stalls.
Miller gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Miller gets underhooks to prevent Starr's takedown attempt.
Miller gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Starr regains guard.
Starr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Starr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Starr is looking for a kimura here.

Miller won't allow Starr to pass to mount.

Starr moves nicely into side control.
Starr scores with a couple of short elbows.

Starr in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Starr has hold of Miller's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Miller seems comfortable defending it but Starr has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Miller is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Miller is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Starr couldn't care less - he's delighted!
