Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Migga Gonzales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raimundo Kawasuchi!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawasuchi shoots in and drives through. Gonzales sprawls well.
Kawasuchi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gonzales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kawasuchi.

Gonzales moves into range and clinches up with Kawasuchi.

Kawasuchi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gonzales avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Migga Gonzales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raimundo Kawasuchi.
Gonzales's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well Gonzales has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
