Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Migga Gonzales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raimundo Kawasuchi! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawasuchi shoots in and drives through. Gonzales sprawls well. Kawasuchi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gonzales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kawasuchi. Gonzales moves into range and clinches up with Kawasuchi. A knee to the head by Gonzales.
Kawasuchi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gonzales avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Migga Gonzales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raimundo Kawasuchi. Gonzales's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gonzales lands with a slapping head kick. Gonzales closes the distance and clinches. Gonzales comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Kawasuchi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gonzales pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kawasuchi is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Gonzales stopping the sweep attempt from Kawasuchi. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kawasuchi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gonzales decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kawasuchi's guard. Kawasuchi has Gonzales pulled in close to control his posture. Kawasuchi is trying to control the position but Gonzales postures up.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gonzales walks away with a smile on his face. Kawasuchi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gonzales blocks a head kick by Kawasuchi.
And that's the end of the fight! Migga Gonzales showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gonzales has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
