Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davor Sakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okami has chosen Nuh Linga as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakic throws a low kick but Okami avoids it.
Okami tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Okami fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Okami has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sakic uses from the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sakic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okami swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Okami manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Okami shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sakic as he avoids it easily.

Sakic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Okami is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Okami is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sakic can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Okami feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Okami isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sakic stacks Okami on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sakic!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Davor Sakic.
