Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armand Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Vladamir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drako Vladamir!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kane breaks the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kane.

Vladamir gets a takedown into half guard.
Vladamir tries to stand and escape but Kane is controlling the position.
Kane gets full guard.
Kane really is a fat lump.
Vladamir preventing the sweep.
Vladamir would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Vladamir working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane trying to keep a closed guard but Vladamir is proving a slippery customer.
Kane lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vladamir!
Vladamir is squirming around, avoiding Kane's attempts to control the action.
Vladamir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vladamir is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kane thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kane looking to control but Vladamir is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Poor strikes thrown by Kane there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kane trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Vladamir is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Vladamir holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kane tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kane sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Vladamir is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kane can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vladamir is looking to escape.
You get the feeling that Vladamir really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kane trying to control but Vladamir is having none of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kane looking for a guillotine from mount but Vladamir is having none of it.
Poor strikes thrown by Kane there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Vladamir is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Armand Kane will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!



Vladamir shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kane's guard.
Vladamir tries to stand but Kane is controlling from the bottom.
Kane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vladamir must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Vladamir is not content to let Kane control the position.
Vladamir is breathing heavily.

Kane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kane is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kane is trying to work for a kimura but Vladamir is defending well.
Kane is looking to take a break and control but Vladamir is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kane is looking for a kimura here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vladamir can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Kane is trying to control. Vladamir wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vladamir is looking to escape.

Kane is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Vladamir gets a takedown into half guard.
Kane misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Vladamir tries to stand and escape but Kane is controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kane is trying to maintain the position but Vladamir is very close to passing his half guard.
Kane manages to get to full guard.

Vladamir decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kane tries for a takedown but Vladamir circles away easily

so Vladamir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Vladamir wants to stand but Kane has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drako Vladamir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Vladamir drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kane can't do much from the bottom here.
Kane is looking for a sweep.
Kane manages to get back to half guard.
Vladamir tries to stand and escape but Kane is controlling the position.
Kane blocking the ground and pound attempt from Vladamir.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kane gets full guard.
Vladamir throwing strikes but missing.
Kane throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane trying to control the position.
Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Vladamir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Drako Vladamir has got the better of the ground game so far.
Vladamir wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kane wants to sweep but no luck.
Kane is working hard here to advance position.

Vladamir got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vladamir has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted.
Kane is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vladamir has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kane is proving hard to escape from.
Vladamir is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kane doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Vladamir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Vladamir postures up.

Kane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Vladamir is looking to stand up but Kane won't let him.

Kane looking for a guillotine here but Vladamir defends easily.
Kane has a closed guard, preventing Vladamir from standing up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vladamir manages to get himself to full guard.
Vladamir keeping moving, preventing Kane from controlling successfully.
Kane sitting in guard here, content to control.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vladamir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Vladamir keeping moving, preventing Kane from controlling successfully.

And that's the end of the fight!
Drako Vladamir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Vladamir has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
