Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jokke Nappula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Cloyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappula's entrance music is Foo Fighters - All My Life. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Nappula finds it's target.
Cloyde moves out of range of the leg kick from Nappula.
Nappula throws a head kick that misses.
Cloyde takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nappula stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nappula wants it to stay on the feet.
Good leg kick by Nappula there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Nappula leaves Cloyde with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cloyde changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nappula tries to avoid it but Cloyde manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nappula to the ground. Nappula escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nappula smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cloyde is trying desperately to land a takedown but Nappula is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cloyde.
Nappula bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cloyde's head.

Cloyde's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Cloyde takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Cloyde closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nappula misses with a leg kick.
Nappula shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nappula feints and then cracks Cloyde's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cloyde down.
Nappula closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Cloyde tries for a takedown but Nappula sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nappula lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cloyde has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cloyde and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nappula scores with a jab. Cloyde acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nappula tries a head kick but it misses.
Cloyde shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nappula pinned against the cage. Nappula gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cloyde tries to clinch but Nappula moves out of range.
Cloyde throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nappula was covering up waiting for the punch and Cloyde finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cloyde is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cloyde thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cloyde takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cloyde fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nappula avoids it really well and circles away.
Nappula will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Nappula is trying to maintain the position but Cloyde is very close to passing his half guard.
