Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Dahh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaver has chosen Sound of Silence as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. David Dahh looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dahh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Beaver! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dahh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beaver paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dahh looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Beaver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Beaver seems to be working for a kimura but Dahh defends the submission attempt. Beaver tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dahh controls his leg. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Beaver has eaten all the pies! Beaver wants to pass the guard but Dahh is defending well. Beaver is keen to just control but Dahh is a slippery customer. Beaver working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beaver is keen to just control but Dahh is a slippery customer. Beaver throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dahh tries to get to full guard but Beaver has control of the leg. Beaver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Beaver looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dahh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Beaver trying to control the action but Dahh is working from the bottom. Dahh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dahh is looking to improve his position.
Dahh is working hard here to advance position. Dahh is trying to stand back up but Beaver is controlling him
Beaver is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dahh doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beaver. Beaver decides to stand and escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dahh scores with a takedown into Beaver's guard. Dahh is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Beaver has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dahh is looking to defend but Beaver has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dahh! Beaver pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dahh taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Karl Beaver!
