Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferguingo Sergio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergio has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gale.
Gale throws a series of punches but Sergio avoids them all with ease.
Gale shoots in and bounces Sergio off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sergio's waist but Sergio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gale off to one side.
Gale tries to close the distance and clinch but Sergio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sergio checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sebastian Gale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gale shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sergio as he jumps to the side.

Sergio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gale swivels and escapes.

Sergio suckers Gale into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Sergio is now in Gale's guard!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sergio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gale shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sergio manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gale accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Gale has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
