Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dung Pee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kathos Krathulian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dung Pee has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Dung Pee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kathos Krathulian! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Krathulian, pushing him back against the cage. Krathulian blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Krathulian tries to score a body lock takedown but Pee shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pee avoiding damage.
Krathulian avoids a wild elbow strike from Pee. Krathulian has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Krathulian.
Pee jumps guard.
Krathulian trying to control but Pee is working from the bottom. Krathulian wants to pass the guard but Pee is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pee wants to stand but Krathulian is controlling the position. Krathulian scoring with punches to the head and body. Krathulian is looking to work some ground and pound but Pee has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krathulian prevents Pee from getting back to his feet. Pee has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Krathulian off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Pee throws a nice looking combination but Krathulian bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krathulian swats him away and circles back towards the center. Krathulian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pee as he avoids it easily. Krathulian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krathulian was well out of range. Poor timing from Pee. Krathulian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pee but Pee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dung Pee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kathos Krathulian. Pee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pee. Pee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Krathulian counters with a shoot takedown. Pee fights it but they end up in guard. Krathulian throwing strikes from guard but Pee blocks nicely. Pee wants to stand up but Krathulian is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krathulian is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Krathulian trying to control but Pee is working from the bottom. Krathulian throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Krathulian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Krathulian is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Krathulian counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Pee wants to get back to his feet but Krathulian drags him back down. Pee is breathing heavily. Krathulian trying to control the action but Pee is working from the bottom. Pee is pushing Krathulian's head away, looking to escape. Krathulian manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krathulian in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Pee is trying to buck Krathulian off. Pee defending against the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pee doesn't manage to clinch there - Krathulian circles away.
Pee darts in trying to clinch and Krathulian counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krathulian working the head and body with strikes. Krathulian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Krathulian looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Pee is avoiding damage well.
Krathulian is working to tighten is grip on Pee's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pee has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Krathulian is really squeezing tight and eventually Pee passes out! Krathulian breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
