Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Jury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Williams! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jury throws a chopping leg kick but Williams manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Williams misses with a two punch combination.

Jury tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jury somewhat. Williams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jury makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jury. Jury not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams throws a big right hand that misses. Jury looking for a sweep. Not yet Jury, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jury is working hard here to advance position. Williams stands up over Jury, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Williams scoring with some ground and pound. Jury seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Jury will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jury wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Williams throws and elbow that misses. Jury uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Williams's guard. Nice move by Jury! Williams working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jury has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Jury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working. Williams preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Williams is trying to get back to full guard. Williams regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jury stops Williams from standing up. Jury gets to his feet - Williams follows without any prompting. No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jury is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jose Jury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jury gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Williams throws a body kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jury showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.

Jury shoots and misses and Williams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jury! Jury wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Jury is breathing heavily. Jury is looking to improve his position but Williams isn't that keen on the idea. Williams lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Oh Jury is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Williams unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jury wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Williams celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
