Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooks Staal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirk comes to the cage accompanied by one. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Staal drops his hands momentarily and McGirk takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

McGirk with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Staal to score with a decent uppercut.

Staal lands a nice shot to the body.
McGirk is breathing heavily.
Staal tests McGirk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McGirk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Staal connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McGirk's hands.
Staal lands with a big left! McGirk is wobbled badly! Staal comes in with a flurry of punches and drops McGirk to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
