Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bo Sherk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Jones! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown but Sherk shows good takedown defense. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Sherk in a clinch.
Sherk tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Sherk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sherk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sherk throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones rushes Sherk and presses him up against the cage. Sherk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sherk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Sherk as Jones shoots in. Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sherk sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sherk is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.
Sherk is looking to escape. Sherk is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jones prevents Sherk from standing back up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jones is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sherk swivels and escapes. Bo Sherk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Jones. Sherk throws a right and a left that both miss. Sherk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bo Sherk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sherk is breathing heavily. Jones connects with a high kick. Sherk throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones has closed the distance and engaged Sherk in a clinch.
Sherk wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Jones pulls Sherk into guard.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sherk is controlling him. Jones has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sherk off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Sherk throws a head kick that misses. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones rushes Sherk and presses him up against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones unloading with bombs!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sherk wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jones is landing with some decent strikes but Sherk is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sherk has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jones with the ground and pound from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sherk is trying to stand. Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sherk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sherk to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sherk shrugs it off. Jones tries to control but Sherk wriggling away. Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherk is in a horrible position here. Jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jones looking to secure an arm triangle but Sherk defends it well. Jones lands a heavy elbow. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones with the ground and pound from mount. Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sherk has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Sherk trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones trying to control but Sherk is having none of it. Jones lands a big elbow. Jones scoring with strikes but Sherk is staying in there. Jones looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Sherk wants to try and get back to his feet. Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Sherk is having none of it. Jones looking to isolate an arm here. Sherk doesn't see it coming and as Jones extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jones!
