And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordy throws a right and a left that Goode avoids nicely.
Goode lands a two punch combo.
Gordy misses with a combination
enabling Goode to counter with a crisp jab.
Gordy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Goode fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Goode misses with a two punch combination.
Gordy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gordy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gordy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Goode is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gordy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Goode doesn't seem bothered though.
Goode is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gordy's half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Goode takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gordy throws a right hand that Goode ducks under and follows up with a left that Goode also avoids with ease.

and Goode counters with a stiff right hand.
Gordy misses with a body shot.
Goode looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Goode bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Goode tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Goode lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Goode cracks Gordy with a big right hand but Gordy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Gordy is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Goode scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gordy to see if he's OK.
Gordy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Goode is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gordy has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gordy avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Goode.
Goode looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gordy wants to get back to his feet.

Goode has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Goode with a couple of short strikes.
Goode landing shots from mount.
Gordy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Goode lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gordy hang on?

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Goode cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Goode lands with some strikes.
Goode breaks from Gordy's wrist control and lands an elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gordy wants to try and get back to his feet.
Goode landing strikes from the mount.
Gordy is rocked!
A nice elbow there by Goode.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Goode dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gordy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Goode dodges the punch combination from Gordy.
A swing and a miss from Gordy.
Goode shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Goode with shots to the head and body - Gordy looks very uncomfortable down there.
BOOM! Goode connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gordy is still in real trouble! Can Goode finish him?
Goode postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Gordy in real trouble here! The ref calls for Gordy to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Goode!
