The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cane showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from ONeill.
Cane misses with a combination
and ONeill counters with a nice body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for ONeill. That snapped Cane's head back.
Cane thows a leg kick but ONeill checks it
and ONeill counters with a straight right hand.
ONeill misses with a few strikes there.
ONeill moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cane.
ONeill changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

ONeill throws a series of strikes that have Cane backpedaling.
ONeill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
ONeill throws a right hand that Cane ducks under and follows up with a left that Cane also avoids with ease.
ONeill looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cane takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
ONeill throws a series of punches but Cane moves out of range.
ONeill lands a head shot.
ONeill lands a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
ONeill misses with a series of wild punches.
ONeill scores with a decent looking hook.
ONeill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by ONeill!
ONeill should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
ONeill goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Cane seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. ONeill shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Cane is backing up but ONeill catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Cane covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! ONeill Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven ONeill!
