Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Max Cavalera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yosunaro Masashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Cavalera has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Cavalera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Yosunaro Masashi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masashi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cavalera is out of range and Masashi settles back down. Cavalera looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Masashi! Cavalera controlling from the full mount. Cavalera unloads with some shots from mount but Masashi bucks and avoids them well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cavalera in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Cavalera working for a guillotine from mount but Masashi is in no mood to give up. Cavalera takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cavalera misses with a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalera controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavalera has hold of Masashi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Masashi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cavalera goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Masashi is on top in guard.
Masashi being controlled here momentarily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cavalera throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Cavalera dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Masashi throws a body punch but Cavalera moves out of range. Masashi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cavalera circles away quickly and effectively. Masashi tries a low kick but Cavalera avoids it. Cavalera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Masashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cavalera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cavalera thows a huge punch but Masashi dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cavalera passes to full mount! Cavalera cracks Masashi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalera controlling from the full mount. Masashi tries to buck Cavalera off but he can't manage it. Cavalera punching from mount but Masashi doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavalera looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Cavalera controlling from the full mount. Cavalera is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Masashi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Masashi shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cavalera controlling his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Max Cavalera just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Masashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Cavalera dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Masashi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Masashi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cavalera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masashi as he avoids it easily. Cavalera throws a body kick that misses. Masashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cavalera moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cavalera tries to bum rush Masashi with a series of wild strikes but Masashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Masashi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Masashi just misses with a punch to the body.
Cavalera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cavalera content to control rather than advance. Masashi pushes Cavalera off looking to stand but Cavalera dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cavalera performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cavalera is working for a kimura but Masashi is defending it quite comfortably.
Cavalera has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavalera is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Cavalera clinches up against the cage. Cavalera lands a takedown into guard.
Cavalera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Masashi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cavalera passes Masashi's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cavalera is nestled in close to Masashi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cavalera stalling. Cavalera tries to pass the half guard into mount. Masashi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Cavalera showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cavalera, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
