Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chupa Cobre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chupa Cobre! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker gets the takedown into side control. Parker working the strikes but Cobre uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Parker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Parker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nice strikes from Parker there. Parker working Cobre over with strikes. Parker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cobre is trying to get back to full guard. Cobre avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Parker. Cobre moves into full guard.
Parker postures up in Cobre's guard and throws a big left but Cobre blocks it. Parker with a flurry of punches that miss. Parker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parker drops back looking for a leg! Cobre is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cobre manages to kick Parker off! Parker jumps back into Cobre's guard. Parker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cobre works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker trying to control but Cobre is working from the bottom. Cobre looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cobre looking to control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Parker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cobre is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Parker off and has taken his back! Cobre is working the ground and pound. Can Parker escape? Cobre trying to control. Cobre is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Parker is defending well though. Cobre let's go of the attempt for now. Cobre is trying to stick to Parker's back but Parker is turning into Cobre. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cobre's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Parker.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobre keeping moving, preventing Parker from controlling successfully. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Parker is really struggling to control Cobre but he's trying to hold on to the position. Parker throws a big right hand that misses. Cobre is trying to control the position but Parker postures up. Parker is looking to work some ground and pound but Cobre has wrist control. Parker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Parker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cobre works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cobre misses with a takedown attempt and Parker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cobre won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parker scoring with punches and elbows. Parker landing strikes. Cobre struggling a bit here. Parker grinds an elbow into Cobre's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobre is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Parker off and has taken his back! Parker trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Cobre tries to keep control of the position but Parker is staying busy. Good control from Cobre. Parker is keeping busy.
Cobre patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cobre looks gassed! Cobre doesn't have the hooks in and Parker manages to turn into his guard.
Cobre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Parker landing with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobre trying to control the position.
Parker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Parker lands a couple of elbows. Parker is working Cobre over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Parker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cobre is trying to keep Parker in close.
Parker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parker postures up in Cobre's guard and throws a big left but Cobre blocks it. Parker throwing strikes but missing. Cobre is trying to control the position but Parker postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Parker dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Parker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cobre is trying to defend but Parker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Cobre keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Parker uses his free foot to push down on Cobre's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cobre. Parker looking to finish Cobre with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cobre! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker with shots to the head and body - Cobre looks very uncomfortable down there. Parker prevents Cobre from getting the reversal. Cobre taking shots to the head. Cobre is trying desperately to improve position. Parker lands a nice shot to the head. Parker sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Parker with good strikes from the mount here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cobre is rocked! Parker unloading with bombs! Cobre is still in real trouble! Can Parker finish him? Oooooh, big shot lands for Parker! Cobre is hurt baaadly! Parker is firing away with more strikes - Cobre is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
