Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Hiawatha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veijo Vinssi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiawatha comes to the cage accompanied by The Gael. Vinssi has chosen The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius as his entrance music. Veijo Vinssi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pikku Hiawatha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Veijo Vinssi!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiawatha is looking to clinch but Vinssi is avoiding it.
Hiawatha scores with a jab to the head.
Hiawatha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hiawatha moves out of range as Vinssi strikes.
Vinssi throws a nice looking combination but Hiawatha bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hiawatha looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Vinssi!
Hiawatha throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hiawatha with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hiawatha wants to control the pace but Vinssi is squirming around nicely.
Vinssi tries to lock up and control but Hiawatha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hiawatha misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Vinssi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hiawatha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vinssi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Vinssi is in a horrible position here. Hiawatha smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vinssi wants to try and get back to his feet.
Hiawatha misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Veijo Vinssi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
