Stehling comes to the ring accompanied by Turmion Kätilöt - Minä MÄÄRÄÄN!. Flowers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu Tang Clan - Tiger Style. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stehling throws a shot from downtown. Flowers moves away and avoids it.
Flowers moves away from the strike by Stehling.
Stehling defending well as Flowers loads up on a big left hand.
Flowers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stehling swivels and escapes.
Flowers scores with a shot to the body.
Flowers misses with a looping right.
Flowers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Flowers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stehling will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Flowers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stehling avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Mitchell Stehling will probably get the nod.

Flowers throws an elbow but Stehling slips to the side and avoids it well.
Stehling is pushing Flowers's head away, looking to escape. Flowers manages to hold on to the position though.

Stehling has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flowers is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stehling cracks Flowers with a good jab.
Stehling slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Stehling wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice straight punches there by Stehling. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stehling.
Flowers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stehling tries to avoid it but Flowers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stehling to the ground. Stehling escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Flowers looks to land a right hand but Stehling moved out of range.
Stehling lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Stehling counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stehling fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Flowers needs to keep his hands up - Stehling had a free shot at his head there.
Stehling cracks Flowers with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Flowers tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Stehling pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Flowers is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
