Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsunori Kikuno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan's entrance music is Erase Me. A fine choice. Dexter Morgan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Katsunori Kikuno's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Katsunori Kikuno!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Morgan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kikuno is trying to stand.
Morgan tries to pass to full mount but Kikuno defends it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan uses his free foot to push down on Kikuno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kikuno.

Morgan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kikuno is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kikuno and Morgan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Morgan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kikuno, who protects the arm well.
Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Kikuno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kikuno ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Kikuno moves into the clinch.
Kikuno lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kikuno lands with a left to the head.
Morgan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kikuno lands a nice uppercut.
Morgan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kikuno pulls his leg out and moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kikuno. Morgan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kikuno tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it.
Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown. Kikuno tries to sprawl out of it but Morgan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kikuno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexter Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kikuno is looking to clinch but Morgan is avoiding it.
Morgan takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Kikuno lands a left hand that snaps the head of Morgan backwards.
Morgan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kikuno works on Morgan's body with a couple of short punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A nice left hand lands by Kikuno.

Kikuno lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Morgan is rocked!
Kikuno lands a big right hand that drops Morgan! The killer instinct kicks in and Kikuno finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kikuno!
