The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan throws a one two combo.

It looks like Wellen Dowd has been cut.
Dowd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dowd there as he acknowledges the shot.

Logan tries to keep at a distance but Dowd has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dowd tries to work over Logan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dowd lands a nice knee to the body.
Dowd is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Logan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Logan misses with the head strike.
Logan stops a takedown attempt from Dowd.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wellen Dowd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Logan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dowd is looking to control Logan's arms but Logan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dowd has his back to the ropes.
Dowd goes for a takedown attempt but Logan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Logan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dowd manages to avoid it.

Logan avoids a kick to the body.
Dowd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Dowd closes the distance and clinches.
Dowd drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Logan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Logan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dowd looking to stall.
Logan gets through Dowd's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Logan lands a body punch in the clinch.
Dowd is breathing heavily.

Logan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Logan stuns Dowd with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Logan misses with a double jab.
Logan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Logan throws a right and a left that Dowd avoids nicely.
Logan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oh Dowd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Logan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Logan cracks Dowd with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Logan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dowd's head.
Logan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dowd fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dowd throws a low kick but Logan avoids it.
Horrible takedown by Dowd or perhaps it was just good defense by Logan which made him look bad.
Dowd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Logan swivels and escapes.
Dowd seems to have got his legs back now.
A jab lands there for Logan.
Logan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dowd. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Logan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dowd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logan.
Logan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dowd at a distance.
Logan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dowd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dowd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Logan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
James Logan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Logan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Dowd stumbling backwards into the ropes! Dowd bounces back off the ropes towards Logan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Logan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Logan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
