Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nakata Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Scaife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scaife is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eminem The Way I Am. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Scaife! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scaife turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ko misses with a takedown attempt - Scaife sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Scaife tests Ko's chin there with a solid looking shot. Scaife scores with a shot to the body.
Ko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ko fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Ko creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Scaife sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Scaife is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ko off and has taken his back! Ko is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Scaife is looking for the choke from the back position but Ko is controlling his hands well.

Scaife thuds his shin into the meat of Ko's side. Scaife lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ko at a distance.

A shot to de liver by Scaife. Beautiful body shot. Scaife throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Good standup being displayed there by Scaife as he connects with a hook. Ko fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ko is breathing heavily. Scaife throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice uppercut lands for Scaife. That snapped Ko's head back.

Both fighters circling a little - Scaife finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ko ducks under a wild hook from Scaife. No joy there for Scaife, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Scaife is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scaife throws a combination. Ko tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Crunch! Scaife slams his shin into Ko's torso. Scaife swinging wildly here.
Scaife thumps Ko with a low kick. A punch lands to the side of Ko 's head but he takes it in his stride. Ko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ko takes one to the chin there. Scaife lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Scaife looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Scaife lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Scaife comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Scaife lands a really nice looking cross but Ko seems unphased.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scaife lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Scaife has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Scaife throws a series of punches but Ko avoids them all with ease. Ko has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scaife dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ko. That did some damage! Scaife connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Left hook, right uppercut from Scaife. Scaife throws a good cross that connects.
Scaife stalks Ko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ko's face. Ko staggers backwards, shaken. Ko takes a jab right on the kisser.

Ko takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ko walks into a stiff left hand from Scaife. Aaron Scaife seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Scaife!

Scaife has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Scaife lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ko backs up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scaife dips to his left and cracks Ko with an uppercut! Ko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Scaife scores with a jab. Scaife throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Donk. Scaife catches Ko right on the button with a cross. Ko tries to move into range but Scaife moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Scaife connects with a looping right hand.
Ko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Scaife cracks Ko with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scaife connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A left and a right from Scaife both land. Nice combination. Scaife paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Scaife showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Ko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Scaife. That one must have hurt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jab, jab by Scaife - just one landing. Scaife scores with a hook to the body. Ko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ko there as he acknowledges the shot. Scaife fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ko on the side of the head. Scaife scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Scaife lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Scaife scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Scaife lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Scaife's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Scaife duly obliges. Scaife misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scaife lands with a cross. Scaife lands with an uppercut that bounces Ko off the cage and back into rage. Ko looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scaife will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Scaife lands a front kick. Scaife cracks Ko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Scaife misses with a few strikes there.

Scaife feints and then cracks Ko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ko down. Ko is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Scaife. Scaife lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Scaife to score with a decent uppercut. Ko takes one to the chin there. Ko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scaife lands a nice shot that snaps Ko's head back.
Scaife scores with a one two! Ko had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nakata Ko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Scaife lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Scaife comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Scaife has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
