Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cane Gairzinio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cane Gairzinio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ty Anderson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Gairzinio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gairzinio swivels and escapes. Cane Gairzinio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ty Anderson. Gairzinio lands the left hand. Gairzinio throws a series of strikes that have Anderson backpedaling.
Gairzinio moves into the clinch. Gairzinio breaks from the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Anderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Gairzinio which made him look bad. Anderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gairzinio sprawls well. Gairzinio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Gairzinio moves out of range easily. Anderson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Anderson. Gairzinio fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Anderson. Anderson dives in and grabs Gairzinio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gairzinio pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out. Gairzinio gets the takedown into side control. Gairzinio wants to stand but Anderson has his arm trapped. Anderson wants to control but Gairzinio postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gairzinio controls the position. Gairzinio decides to take the fight back to the feet. A low kick from Anderson is predictable there and Gairzinio counters with a lovely straight right hand! Anderson feints and as Gairzinio raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Anderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Anderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gairzinio is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Gairzinio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground. Anderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gairzinio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Anderson wants to control from the top but Gairzinio keeps moving. Gairzinio wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Gairzinio has wrist control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gairzinio counters with an inside leg kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anderson. Gairzinio fails with a takedown attempt. Ty Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anderson misses with a takedown and Gairzinio counters with a one-two to the body. Anderson looks gassed! Gairzinio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anderson misses with a takedown and Gairzinio counters with a left to the body. Jab by Gairzinio. Anderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gairzinio's half guard. Gairzinio tries to kick Anderson off in order to stand up. Anderson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Anderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anderson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cane Gairzinio dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gairzinio throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and Gairzinio counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anderson's guard now. Anderson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Anderson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gairzinio defends well. Anderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderson, not yet. Anderson is breathing heavily.

Anderson keeping full guard, as Gairzinio tries to pass. Anderson has his feet on Gairzinio's thighs here. He's pushed Gairzinio off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gairzinio screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
